Background Info
Recycling is the process where old materials are used to recreate new materials. The new products are made to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and water pollution. Materials that are used to recycle are varities of glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles, and electronics.Another form of recycling is when all hazardous materials are removed from an object. Recycling has been practiced for many years, in many wars recycling took place and helped them greatly. It made things easier and saved money that could be used for more deffensive items. Mayors of towns have placed recycle boxes throughout their towns. They are found in populated areas, wherever you go you will mostlikely see them. If you see one, use it. DONT LITTER , RECYCLE!! :)
Statistics
The town of Cooper City has one of the highest recycling participation in Broward County. All residents of Cooper City have been provided with 2 recycling bins. The bins are picked up once a week along with your garbage. Since October 1, 2009 residents no longer have to separate recyclable paper from recyclable plastic bottles, metal cans, glass bottles, and jars.
With this new system, recyclabes can now all be placed together in one or two bins. Before you recycle an item you are kindly asked to keep newspapers dry, Do not put materials in plastic bags, rinse all containers, bottles ,jars and jugs. Remove all rings, lids and caps.
Possible Soultions
Their are many possible solutions to help recycle. One solution is to place more recycling bins around towns so that people have more places to put recyclables. Their are many companies who make bins for recyclables. Also, if you get a group of people together you can walk around town and find bottles and etc. on the floor and recycle them.
This country should make a recycling law. If you dont recycle, you should go to jail. People are making it worse for theirselves by not recycling because if they do recycle, it will save alot of money. Most people are too lazy to recycle but if it was a law, they would have no choice.
